Quick start

Subscription import and connection verification

Complete the basic setup in order: account, plan, subscription, client, and verification. Handle only the current task at each step; advanced troubleshooting and route details are covered in the Help Center and troubleshooting guide.

Account

Create an account and open the user panel

First open EQVPN’s account creation page. No email address is required; enter a username you plan to keep using and set a password. The username identifies your account, while the password is used to sign in to the user panel later. Save both securely so they are not confused when entered on different devices. After successful submission, the user panel usually opens automatically. If you return to the sign-in page, use the username and password you just set.

After opening the panel, confirm that you can see sections such as “Account Overview,” “Plans,” and “Download Client.” It is normal not to have selected a plan yet, and a route subscription may not have been generated. Do not manually create a connection on your device at this stage. EQVPN delivers routes, update addresses, and usage status through the subscription; without a plan, the client will not receive usable routes.

If you cannot open the panel after creating the account, first check that the username matches exactly, then make sure the password contains no extra spaces. Browser autofill may retain details from an older account. If you keep returning to the sign-in page, clear the fields and enter them again. More account troubleshooting is covered in Frequently Asked Questions; this page continues with the standard setup flow.

Plan

Choose a plan and complete your order

Once the account is ready, open the plans section in the user panel. EQVPN offers monthly subscriptions with monthly data resets, as well as data packages that remain valid until used and never expire. Start with your typical usage: frequent access to international websites, AI Tools, or Streaming is suited to a monthly subscription, while irregular use and a preference for keeping data available may favor a data package. Review the details and differences together on the pricing page.

After selecting a plan, the order page lists the selected product, amount due, and available payment methods. EQVPN supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Before paying, confirm the plan type again, especially because monthly subscriptions and data packages are measured differently: monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date, while data packages remain available until used. Complete payment through the page and do not close an order that is still processing.

After payment, return to the account overview and check whether the plan status has updated. Some pages may require a manual refresh to show the latest result. If the order is processing, open the orders section to check its status rather than creating the same order again. Refunds after the first payment are governed by the refund policy; marketing pages state a 30-day, no-questions-asked refund.

Get
Subscription

Get your subscription link from the panel

Once the plan is active, open the account overview and find the subscription information or one-click import section. This is a personal subscription linked to your account; clients use it to retrieve the route list and later updates. After clicking Copy, do not paste the link into a public webpage, shared document, or group chat. Treat the subscription link as an account credential and import it only on your own devices.

A subscription address usually appears as a complete HTTPS link. The example in this guide is for recognizing the format only; it cannot connect and is not a real EQVPN address:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

After copying the link, you can paste it briefly into a local input field to check that the beginning and end are intact, but do not change any characters. If the browser wraps the link across multiple lines, the copied result should still be continuous text. If the panel offers both “One-click Import” and “Copy Subscription,” desktop users can usually copy the subscription and paste it into the client. On mobile, try the one-click import option that matches the current client first.

A subscription is not a static route list. After the first import, the client saves the subscription source and can retrieve the current routes through “Update Subscription.” When route names or available regions change, there is no need to create a new account or order; update the existing subscription in the client. If subscription information does not appear in the panel, confirm that the plan is active and refresh the account overview. If it is still missing, use the support ticket section in the user panel and include the order status and platform.

Import
Client

Complete subscription import for your platform

After getting the subscription link, open the client downloads section in the user panel and choose the official client for your device. Both clients and subscriptions are delivered through the user panel; this guide does not provide direct installer links. After installation, open the client and do not enter server addresses manually. Import through the subscription or configuration section to get the complete route list and retain future update capability.

DESKTOP

Windows

On Windows, get the official Windows client from the user panel and install it. At first launch, if Windows asks whether to allow a network connection, confirm according to the system prompt; otherwise the client cannot handle the traffic that needs acceleration. In the client’s main window, look for “Subscription Management,” “Add Subscription,” or “Import from Link,” then paste the copied address in full into the URL field.

Give the subscription a recognizable name, then click Add, Save, or Update. Once the client finishes reading it, the main window should show regions and routes. Keep the default routing settings for now; there is no need to change protocols, ports, or advanced rules until the basic connection works. If the list is empty, return to subscription management and update it, checking for spaces before or after the pasted content.

DESKTOP

macOS

On macOS, get the corresponding client through the user panel and launch it from Applications after installation. When the network extension is enabled for the first time, macOS displays a permission prompt; this is a normal step required to establish the system connection. Follow the system guidance to grant permission, then return to the client’s configuration or subscription page, choose Add from URL, and paste and save your personal subscription link.

After the subscription update completes, confirm that route options appear in the menu bar or the client’s main window. macOS may retain the network configuration created by the client in System Settings; there is no need to add the server manually again in the system network panel. If routes are imported but the connection will not start, first check that network extension permission is still enabled. For more detailed permission checks, see the troubleshooting guide.

MOBILE

Android

On Android, open the downloads section from the user panel and get the official client suited to your system. After installing and opening it, look for “Import from URL” under the home screen’s Add button, side menu, or configuration management page. Paste the subscription link, confirm the import, and wait for the client to generate the route list. If the panel offers one-click import for the current client, you can tap it on the same device and then confirm the result in the client.

When connecting for the first time, Android asks for permission to let the client establish a network connection. Confirm it, and a connection indicator will appear in the system status area. To prevent the system from stopping the connection too soon after switching apps, allow the client to run normally in the background under system app settings. Settings vary widely by device manufacturer; for background disconnections, see the mobile guidance in Frequently Asked Questions.

MOBILE

iOS

On iOS, sign in to the user panel, open the client section, and prepare the supported client through the iOS entry shown on the page. Return to the account overview to copy the subscription, then open the subscription, configuration, or remote file section in the client and choose Add via URL. Paste and save the address, then wait for the update to finish. With one-click import, iOS may switch between the browser and client; after returning to the client, confirm that the subscription was added.

When starting the connection for the first time, iOS displays a system-level authorization prompt for network configuration. Follow the prompt, then choose a route and start the connection in the client. If routes load successfully but the connection button does nothing, do not repeatedly delete the subscription. Close and reopen the client first, and confirm that the corresponding network configuration remains in system settings. If you need to import again, copy the current subscription from the account overview instead of using text from an old screenshot.

Linux is also supported by EQVPN, but installation and import steps vary more across distributions. To deploy on Linux, get the corresponding client and current instructions from the panel, then consult the system configuration section of the troubleshooting guide. This page focuses on the common desktop and mobile workflow.

Verify
Connection

Choose a route and verify that it works

Once the route list appears, choose one that matches your intended use and target region. Browsing, AI Tools, and Streaming may have different regional requirements, so do not judge speed by the name alone or repeatedly change advanced settings at the start. Choose a route with a clear purpose, click Connect, and wait for the client status to change from Disconnected to Connected. Keep the current network stable while connecting and avoid switching between multiple network environments.

After the status shows Connected, open EQVPN’s IP check page and see whether the exit region matches the selected route. You can also revisit an international website that previously failed to load reliably and confirm that the page loads, sign-in remains available, and images and API requests complete. Verification is not about one momentary speed result; the client status, exit information, and actual browsing result should all agree.

If the exit information has not changed, return to the client and confirm that the connection switch is still on. Then check whether the client is using rule mode or global mode. Rule mode sends only matching traffic through the route, so some local websites may still show the original exit; test directly inside the relevant app when checking a specific service. Do not run multiple clients that perform the same network function, as their system routes may conflict.

If the connection succeeds but webpages will not open, perform three quick checks in order: update the subscription once, switch to another route in the same region, and fully quit and relaunch the client. If the issue remains, do not randomly change protocols or system settings. Follow the symptom-based paths in the troubleshooting guide for connections, webpages, speed, subscription updates, and app routing. When submitting a support ticket, include the platform, the error text shown in the client, the selected route name, and the situation in which the issue occurred.

Setup complete

Keep the subscription and update routes when needed

After verification, you do not need to import the subscription again every time. For daily use, open the client, choose a route, and connect. When the route list changes, update the existing subscription. When switching devices, copy the subscription again from your own account overview and import it into the client for the relevant platform.
